Just another day

So I haven't done any sort of writing at all in a pretty long time.
I have this blog set up which may get viewed or not but as of recently I haven't hit a single key on this keyboard to write about my adventures so in a way I do understand why this blog wouldn't get viewed.
It's the same ole same ole and nothing new has been written in a long time.

So here I am.
I have now been living in Montreal for almost 6 months. Heck!!! that's almost half a year but then ultimately what is time?..Hehe..
Montreal rules. It's seriously such an amazing city in so many amazing ways. It's by far the biggest place I have lived in yet too date when it comes to the "city" and the population. It's hands down amazing. I am definitely glad I have made this move and the good adventures are something I am looking forward too....I feel there is plenty....!!!!

Next weekend seems like it may have some fun things in store. Its the "Nuit Blanche"festival which takes place in the Old Port of Montreal for 24 hours. Nuit Blanche means "White Night" or "All Nighter" in French. I haven't been too this before however this evening I was reading a program for everything that is going on during this fest. Fun times ahead indeed!!! Most of the museums and galleries are open 24 hours with tons of other events taking place as well....Screenings, Shows, Ice Skating, Art viewing, Ice Sledding and just straight up FUN by the sounds of things......WHoa Whoa!!!!

Something I haven't mentioned yet about my adventures yet is a big part of my adventures is the local hockey team which is known as "the HABS!!".
This is the first city I have lived in with a NHL hockey team which is absolutely amazing. When I lived in thee ol RVA we had a semi- professional hockey team named the Richmond Renegades and for 1 year we ahd an UHL team named the Richmond Riverdogs. For both teams I would say average attendance in a 13000 cap arena would be around 3000 a night. Definitely cheap and fun but nothing that would compare to this hockey team here in Montreal. I haven never lived in a city where your average person is extremely pumped, excited, concerned, and into what is happening with the local hockey team. There is this energy which is undescribable when there is a game on. All the bars, and diners with TV's are packed with fans who are dedicated to their team. It's something speclal. I haven't yet gone to a game however definitely had tickets for a game earlier this week but declined due to other engagements. Ouch!!!! Thos other engagements didn't turn out as I would have thought SO I learned my lesson. A big lesson seeing how this game I missed was a very very historic game.........

Anyhooo.......it's late. My thoughts are slowing down but I just wanted to write something seeing that I haven't in a long long long time.
Keep on
